GL11 March Open Saturday
GL11 Community Hub will open for a free family Saturday on 15 March, from 10am to 2pm, as part of the National Lottery’s Open Week.
As well as free drop-in children’s activities and craft taster sessions, local residents will be able to try their hand at therapeutic art, painting their very own Dursley rock, and even a ‘Make your own Bird Box’ activity with GL11’s Men’s Shed (while wood stocks last).
The GL11 Community Café will also be open for the day serving sausage, bacon or vegetarian sausage baps for just £2, as well as hot drinks. But early birds will first be able to have a go at making their own free breakfast pancake, while for the last hour of the Open Day, bookings are being taken for eight people to experience making their own Natural Skincare products for just £10.
Plus, there will be a free prize draw for anyone bringing an old National Lottery ticket or scratchcard along to GL11 for someone to win a free place at a future GL11 paid course or activity of their choice!
