Blood Pressure Monitoring
High blood pressure is the biggest single cause of death in the UK, and within our GL11 area it is estimated that almost 2,000 adults currently have undiagnosed high blood pressure. GL11 Community Hub is here to help you sort it out before it becomes a serious problem. We’ll be coming to events and locations in the local area throughout the year to give you a free blood pressure check on the spot and to support you with the next steps.
As part of this project, we’re also asking people what stops them getting their blood pressure checked regularly and what would make it easier. If you would like to be part of our focus groups and to share your experience and ideas just give us a call on 01453 548530.
