Collecting donations

Help us collect food and other items kindly donated by the community from either Lidl, Sainbury’s or One Stop on either a regular or occasional basis.

Expectation

• Once a week but can be flexible

Personal qualities and experience

• Current and valid driving licence

• Physically able to lift potentially heavy items

• Access to own vehicle

Task and activities

• To liaise with the community teams at either Lidl or Sainsbury’s as to the best time to collect the donations

• Busier periods (Easter, Christmas etc.) might mean more trips 

• To make a note of the quantity and variety of donations for monitoring purposes at the end of the year

• Being clear in communication with the Volunteer Manager as to convenient times to deliver the donations
